Akane huffed as he followed along behind Hamaro, the stubborn greying tawny already scratching away at his nerves just because he could push Akane around, knowing he wouldn't argue back.
Sighing he asked, "What are we doing again?"
Hamaro snorted as he glanced back at the red-brown male with a ice colored glare, turning forward again as he spoke in the most annoying, bossy tone the lighter male could muster up.
"We're hunting," Hamaro replied back.
"Yet we have hardly seen a single animal we can hunt..." Akane mumbled.
Hamaro spun and glared down at the silver eyed male, despite his cold silver gaze it was soft all the same, while Hamaro's own pale blue eyes had a constant chill that could make a stranger of the male shiver at such a glare. Akane met the glare head on, not changing his bored expression.
"Do you have any better plans pup?" He snarled.
"For one, you're hardly older than me," Akane retorted, "and yes I do, We don't hunt on Vinheart family land? Dyret bjørn's presence on the land scares off every creature."
Hamaro snorted again, "I ain't scared of him, from what I know by meeting him is he would cower from a squirrel," He barked a laugh.

Cristoph trotted along happily with a big sprint to his step while behind him sulked the always grumpy Anraka. Their handler had let them both out to hunt today and Cris was very eager to get to know his female packmate better. Her reputation didn't faze him and he was sure she would eventually warm to his charm. The pair had set out passed their usual hunting grounds in the search for prey. Anraka dragged her paws as she walked. It made her fall behind but that wasn't a bad thing. She had caught a couple squirrels but they barely served as a snack. The pied toko loved to hunt and at any opportunity did so. But hunting in a pack did give you much better choices at to what prey to take done... which was the sole reason she was with the dullard skipping off ahead of her today. She needed him even if she didn't like it. The graying cream male halted when the scent of other tokotas caught his attention. He turned to look behind him and called out to Anraka, "We're gonna have company!". The scents were very fresh, two males from the neighboring pack, which meant they could have a team of four going after prey today... if the two males were up to it. Cristoph huffed. How he wished they were two females instead. Mentally shaking the thought away, he raise his muzzle to the sunny sky and let out a low howl to alert the two tokotas ahead of their presence. The pied female did not join her voice with Cris and instead padded passed him as he howled his greeting and continued on down the path.

Akane's head lifted when he heard a howl from not too far behind them, though he didn't see any others just yet. Ears perking slightly as he stopped, though Hamaro kept walking until he realized his pack member had paused. Growling he headed back up to where the darker male was, snapping next to his ear, gaining Akane's attention.
"We're supposed to be hunting Akane, not waiting for some other Tokotas we don't know," he snarled, baring his teeth in attempt to scare the other male into listening to him.
Akane just glanced at the grey male beside him, waiting as two lighter Tokotas walked over the hill that was blocking the sight of them at first.
"We do know them," Akane replied back. "Not very much, but it's Cristoph and Anraka, from the Tribe."
Hamaro huffed at being incorrect, now even more annoyed with his pack member. Standing as tall as he could over the slightly shorter male, he snarled down at him.
"Well I'm in charge, so listen up. Just because they're Tribe members doesn't mean we have to sit here, wait for them, and let them join in on hunting," He growled, nose just an inch away from Akane's with his teeth bared.
"for one, nobody put you in charge Hamaro, if Elsu was here he would be the one in charge," Akane relied wistfully. "Two, just because you threatening me with teeth doesn't mean I'll listen. Three; your breath smells like decay."
The ice-blue eyed male stared at Akane in slight surprise at him arguing pack in such a way before ears laying back as he growled again, thinking over the insult the brown had just said.
"You little brat!" Hamaro snapped, giving Akane a swift bite on the muzzle before standing over the now slightly cowering brown.

"Hey, hey! What's going on?" Cristoph called out with concern as he raced over to the two males, though slowed down before getting too close. He glared at the graying tawny male, who he recognized as Hamaro, before giving the cowering brown toko a worried glance. Cris didn't care if he was sticking his nose in other affairs... he couldn't help but be a helpful male who helped. It's what he did. "I'm sure whatever it is you two can talk it out." He said, nodding his head in agreement with himself.
Anraka slowly approach the scene. She only gave an uninterested glance at the tokotas before her, then looked off to the side and scented the air. She was here to hunt... not fraternize with other tribe tokotas. "And I'm sure they have it handled..." Said huffed to herself loud enough for Cris to hear.

Akane stayed silent, though stood up now, head bowed and ears laid back as Hamaro was placed between him and the other two Tokotas. Hamaro looked at the two, scrutinizing the dun male who just barged into something that was none of his concern.
"It isn't any of your business," Hamaro stated gruffly, pale eyes narrowing at Cristoph. "Who even gave you permission to be on this land?"
Akane glanced towards a tree line to his right, a familiar trait that symbolized the boundary between Vinheart land and land that was either completely wild or owned by someone else.
"They're not that far into the land Hamaro, probably just passing through before they realized we were also here," He mumbled, looking away when cold blue eyes glared back at him.
Hamaro then looked back to the other two, glowering at the slightly older Tokotas as he awaited their answer.

Cris let the comments from Hamaro slide, not wanting to aggravate the already aggravated situation any further. With a sniff of the ground and a glance around him, the graying cream did notice they were in the two tokota's territory. The male had always taken borders as silly things since they were all apart of a tribe, but he knew that others instead held them with fervent regard. He dipped his head, "I'm sorry we've crossed into your land, I didn't mean anything by it. We were just looking for some hunting partners. Having more than two for bear hunting is just a smart idea."
Anraka finally showed some interest when the words 'bear hunting' caught her attention. There was just something satisfying about ripping into and tearing apart something as big and mean as you are. While she was now eager to hunt some bear, she didn't see the reason they needed these two males. Two was enough if you knew how to pick your target. And she had even gone on solo bear hunts and returned with barely a scratch. "They don't want to go, Cris. Let's leave." She said, her annoyance obvious in her tone.

Hamaro went to make a snappy reply when Akane spoke up.
"We were actually just heading to go hunting," the red-brown male commented, ignoring the glare from the grey. "Our Handler's land isn't exactly the best to hunt on when we have to share the land with a terrifying bear that scares all the animals off."
Hamaro grumbled something about the bear not being that scary, thinking the incorrect idea of what should be thought of such a large bear such as Dyret bjørn. Especially when nobody was permitted to kill the bear, Tokota and human alike.
"So where you're going hunting at, I assume you know where you are going hunting at and have hunted there before, but we haven't had any other Tokotas cross over the land before. What made you take a different route from getting to hunting grounds?" Akane asked, nudging past the grey male with a warning glance to keep his muzzle shut.
The grey just glared at the silver eyed male, snorting at his friendliness to escape the hostile situation Hamaro had gotten him into, though he kept quiet as Akane approached Cristoph and Anraka, a slight caution in his step though loose and calm all the same to avoid further tension.

"Then you can join us!" The words came abruptly after Akane told that they too had been going hunting. But he was less thrilled in saying, "We were, ah, going somewhere new. To try a different spot. But you say this land is yours and is no good for hunting, so I guess we went the wrong way." Cris said, slightly embarrassed. He shuffled on his feet and gave a glance back at Anraka, but she only gave him a burning orange glare. She was definitely not happy. The graying cream was not deterred though. He knew he could make this work and they'd all walk away with some nice bear kills.
The pied female's ears were turned back as she stood listening to these two tokotas talk about things that interested her little. When were they going to hunt? She was itching to go and kill something already and they were here gabbing about why they had come this way. A hissing sigh escaped passed her teeth.

As Akane talked to Cristoph as if they were best pals, Hamaro started getting more and more annoyed at how they weren't doing what they came out to do, which was hunt. Finally a growl rumbled in his throat.
"Hey!" He barked irritably, pale blue eyes looking at the two with a harsh expression that seemed to refuse to ever leave his face. "How about you two stop running your jaws and he go actually hunt?" He suggested.
"Eh, right," Akane stated. "Though our Handler's land isn't the best to hunt on, their is a river that the salmon are plentiful during this time of year. They're would be plenty of bears to pick off for hunting, and possible fishing if there's still time."
Hamaro nodded stiffly in agreement, taking a glance towards the pied female. He could tell she too was annoyed at it taking so long for them to get hunting, though it was like it was rocket science to realize this, as the female had made her annoyance clear several times throughout the time the two pairs met up.
