Hamaro had been hoping to get a good night's sleep, once, just once he wanted to sleep a full night without being woken up by someone or something. With having been dragged around during the passed few nights by Vinh to quiet meetings with Rycker and Nitchel over something about her ancestor, he'd been hoping that since Vinh was off on a late night hunt with some others from the pack he'd get some sleep- but guess what? One of the newest members to the pack came and woke him up about something to do with her sphinx brother running off with another sphinx, the little silver half mane, Argent, was shivering from how cold it was outside. So despite against what he usually did to push away annoying little pups, he half-asleep dragged the pup over with a paw and laid his neck on her while listening to her spout nonsense.
Once Argent stopped shivering and could speak some logic, she spoke, and in quite a fast, urgent tone.
"My brother Cairos and his little friend Delphi ran off, thinking it'd be fun to go play outside without supervision, I told them it was a bad idea, it was cold and they don't have the fur to be protected, but they went off anyways!" She wailed. "That was almost twenty minutes ago, Hamaro! We need to go find them!"
By now Hamaro was quite attentive, sitting up once the little silver pup had stopped speaking, and looking down at her with a surprised look he stood up and looked out of his stall of the barn in the valley.
"And you came here all the way from the tribe longhouse?" The older tawny male questioned.
"Yes!" Argent replied with a nod as she stood up.
"Then your twenty minutes might as well be almost forty minutes by now," he grumbled, standing up and grabbing a little gold jacket that was meant for the little pup.
Holding it by the little hood between his teeth, Argent stepped though the little hoop of rope that was meant for keeping it on. Hamaro then let go of the hood, grabbing the end up the rope and pulling it to tighten it around Argent until it fit right and he headed out of the barn. The cold win hit him quickly, not much to him but a small breeze though Argent stared up her shivering again. Sighing he picked up the little pup and placed her on his back before beginning to head along quickly. Argent snuggled up on the part of his mane that went onto his back, her shivering only happening every few seconds now as he traveled along.
Getting out of the valley and through the cavern was easy enough, but once outside the stone walls that blocked the most of the winds, a strong gust of wind hit Hamaro, sending his mane blowing around. Though it didn't stop his pace, the leaves roared overhead and the trees groaned as they fought to stay up. Hamaro kept grumbling under his breath about 'stupid runts' and 'just had to be the coldest night yet'. He soon began to think taking the caves might have been a better idea, though the tribe longhouse and barn soon came into view, though there were the shallow rivers that also posed a problem, especially if the pups had traveled through it, though Argent hadn't wet when she arrived he assumed she had dried off already from how far she had to run.
"Do you know if anyone is even up at this hour?" He questioned.
"Uh, yes! There's some who are awake in in the barn! That one German shepherd guy is also up," Argent explained as Hamaro began trudging through the shallow, fast-moving water.
"But you didn't even bother telling them?" He growled lowly.
"...oops," Argent said nervously.
Hamaro huffed irritably, walking up to the barn and pushing open the cracked doors to see who all was awake to help find the two pups.
