Byzantine and Exodus---- Exodus and Byzantine had run off tumbling and play fighting as they ran through the stalls barking excitedly to each other as they went. Not noticing as they nearly took someone’s feet out from under them with their antics. The pair bounced around weaving through groups of tokos and handlers alike as they raced around the festival and the area around it. Sniffing and investigating everything excitedly. They’d been especially excited when someone had thought they looked cute enough to slip them a small treat which they’d gobbled up before yipping a thank you and charging off again toward the many tokotas starting to congregate a little ways away from the festival. Byzantine was admittedly so excited that he finally understood how Exodus felt when she said she just wanted to run and run and run. This was a rare occurrence considering Byzantine was typically very lazy and had to be seriously motivated to do anything including leave the camp just to go to this festival. “This is awesome,” Byzantine yipped as they ran. Seeing as he for once was great full that he hadn’t decided to be lazy and stay home. “I know right?!” Exodus panted excitedly surging forward, “aren’t you glad I convinced you to come?” “For once yes,” Byzantine admitted before skidding to a stop in front of two tokos who introduced themselves as Akinyi and Lirim. Exodus waved her short fluffy white tail in an excited greating, "Hello Akinyi and Lirim! I'm Exodus and this is Byzantine." Exodus was bursting with excitement and energy the festival was so much more exciting than being kept in camp with Hodie watching their every move. "Isn't this great! Theres so much going on and so many tokos and SOOO much food!" Exodus raved excitedly panting happily at the two new tokos.
Byzantine instead was trying to act more mature and like less of a goofball than the over excited Exodus, "Quiet down Exo, I'm sure they already know they don't need to hear it from you..." Puffing out his little chest to try and look big and grown up more than Exodus who just snorted at him seeing as she was already getting bigger than him.
"Oh please you were just as excited two seconds ago Byz," Exodus scoffed.
"Yah well that was two seconds ago now I'm over it. It's cool but not THAT cool," Byzantine scoffed as the two continued to bicker in front of the two new tokos.
Valence---
Valence had let Hodie wander away on his own since everyone else was doing so and also she could tell he wanted to figure out where the pups had gone. She wandered through the stalls quietly by herself smiling slightly when she spotted a happy couple walking together as she walked also making sure to dodge away from a seemingly tense situation looming between three people and their Tokotas since she was shy enough without getting tangled up in someone elses mess. She hopped she'd run into someone not to wrapped up in other things to maybe introduce her to some people since she really didn't know anyone from the tribe yet she'd just been invited via letter and had come since she had recently become part of the tribe and decided she should probably meet her tribe mates. As she wandered she couldn't help but wonder where Hodie had wandered off to she wished he was still there with her to keep her company but she knew he'd rather be off running arund with other Tokotas than stuck walking around by himself and her. So she kept aimlessly wandering looking but not stopping at any of the stalls out of fear of actually talking to someone and having them point out her ears.
Agent---
Agent trotted into the festival in his German Shepard form he preferred this form to his human form greatly he felt stronger and less awkward like this. He'd taken off his protective jacket for the festival but other than running a comb through his hair he hadn't done much else same thick worn black leather collar and everything still looped around his neck. He wasn't entirely sure about this whole festival thing he'd been invited by his cousin Valence since she thought he'd like to start working with the two new pups she intended to give him once they were trained and full grown under the condition that he'd live in the same camp so Hodie never had to be away from them. He flicked his ears listening around for any signs of trouble even though he was technically retired from the military he seemed attracted to troublesome situations like a moth to a flame. Basically he wasn't handling retirement very well. He perked up when he heard a took growl a little ways away and tense voices as he broke into a lope to go investigate the situation he came to a stop next to two girls in kamanos panting slightly he looked harmless other than being a 100lb german shepard of corse he could flip that switch in a seconf but for now he was calm just assessing the stuation.
Hodie---
Hodie had been running between groups of tokos asking if they'd seen Exodus and Byzantine he wasn't overly concerned seeing as most had seen the pare but they'd been running past them when most had seen them. He was still a bit worried but decided to try and relax and meet some new Tokotas as he approached a small group of tokotas (Seralee, Callie, and Kenai) He waved his tail lowering his head slightly trying to seem friendly since he never had really met any other tokotas and tried being friendly with them except for Byzantine and Exodus and they had been newborn pups when they'd met so not at all intimidating unlike the three full-grown tokos he was approaching. "Um Hello, I'm Hodie... I was wondering if you'd seen two pups run through her a halfmane with bearmarks and a dun piebald maybe?" Hodie asked hopping he hadn't interrupted anything.

Handler: Kohana Tokotas: Circe, Asteria
Word Count: 463
While the worth of genes and traits seemed significant to all, Kohana did value his Tokotas most for the connections he had with them. He had only gotten Asteria recently, though that had not stopped him from gaining her trust. The two Tokotas beside him seemed to be watching his every move carefully, contemplating what he would do next. It felt odd, knowing that these intelligent creatures had become his companions. Not only did Kohana respect Tokotas for their elegance, but he also respected the canine/bear-esque creatures due to their sheer perceptiveness. They could willingly become close to humans, though some-like wild Tokotas-chose to never be tamed. Kohana had heard that Dires were especially time-consuming when it came to training, though he did not know from personal experience. While Dires did intrigue the prestige breeder to an extent, he didn't particularly seek them out. He seemed quite content with the Tokotas that stood by his side at the moment. Curly had always been a gene that Kohana was intrigued by, and he also absolutely loved the piebald and merle genes. Unfortunately, he did have a shortage of males...by that, he had no male Tokotas at all. Kohana had been considering male genos, though he wasn't quite sure as to whether he would accept those offers or not. Of course, he always felt open to taking more Tokotas in-especially if they were males. His female Tokotas couldn't even breed yet, so that was his top priority. Brushing his hand through the merle's curly fur, he put on a slight half-smile for the other person. "Trust me, genes aren't my forte right now. I guess I have the basic understandings of such things, but breeding isn't exactly something I've gotten used to. Of course, that seems a bit ironic, since I'm...a prestige breeder," Kohana responded, laughing slightly at how ridiculous he probably sounded. "However, I do believe you are correct. It's always nice getting to know the Tokotas. In fact, I find that to be the best part about being a handler. They always seem to have a unique personality, making it really interesting to get to know the Tokota. Not to mention, it really pays off when you become friends with your Tokotas." Kohana glanced over at the vangough roan, intrigued by the beauty of the creature. Tokotas had this sort of elegance that set them apart from other creatures, and some of them knew that. While he had no arrogant Tokotas, he had certainly noticed some. Tokotas seemed to be set apart from other organisms, as if their beauty could never be matched. Of course, it did seem to make sense, since there were several people who devoted their lives to making the most graceful Tokotas-or perhaps the most skilled.

Handler Mentioned: Darcey Tokotas Mentioned: Raakel and Chinook
Word Count: 381 Well...this would be fun, not really.Darcey sighed for the hundredth time that hour as he watched the male tokota snap at the bow tie around his massive neck. The large black brute kept throwing him the darkest looks imaginable. The feeling was mutual. Since Chinook had joined Illah Rae Hutt's pack, Darcey was getting to spend less and less time with said lady. He was not a happy camper about this. Raakel gave a happy bark and twirled around clumsily, the bell around her neck digging as she moved. It was cuter when Saralyn was partnering the large white female. Otherwise, Raakel just looked like an overgrown puppy on the ice in the middle of a wind storm. Both tokotas were being babysat by Darcey and he had, reluctantly, decided that, even if all his plans were strewn upon the ground, he was going to go to the Festival and enjoy it! Damn it! Easier said than done. His darlin, Illah Rae, was sick with the stomach flu and had sent him away as to not spread the virus. Saralyn staying home to take care of her mother and asked for pictures. She'd even handed him her mother camera to do just that. He eyed it with another sign. Yes, he was pouting because the girl he wanted to go to the Festival with wasn't going. What made things worse is that he might have, just a tiny bit, bragged to a good majority of his tribe mates that Illah Rae was going to be his date. Now, all he had, were two tokotas and deep frown lines on his forehead. There was no way his buddies would let him live this down. Raakel and Chinook, sensing his emotional drop padded over to the handler. Raakel, having previously been under his care gave him a gentle nudge at the back, forcing him forward and into the lights just at the entrance of the festival. Chinook snorted but walked up to his side and waiting for his cue to move, not bothering to look at Darcey, as per usual, but the gesture was appreciate nonetheless. "I suppose we should get this over with then, hu?" Looking out over the crowed Darcey trudged forward in to the chaotic fray of the festival.

The strawberry blonde lad had a sappy grin spread across his face as he spied Hazel’s blush. That moment right then was something he hoped to treasure always. Being able to see that sort of expression on her and realize that it was because of him. It made him feel special to her despite his inner turmoil. He felt her give a light squeeze on his arm which he took as his cue to go ahead and lead her into the heart of the festival. His mind first wandered to where they should go first. There was a lot to look at and to experience; all of which he had little to no full grasp of yet. This was mostly new to him; the foods, the games, everything. Some things he recognized from reading and hearing about from others yet he couldn't name everything he found his eyes looking upon. He glanced down at Hazel to see that she looked to be content just by being with him; a smile graced upon her lips. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach flutter about as his nervousness seeped up. He looked back to the stalls and scanned them until at last his eyes settled upon one. It was decorated with green cartoon turtles and a colorful banner with small characters patterning it that read “Turtle Scooping” in big bubbly letters. A large tub sat at the front with numerous small paper nets hanging from a post for fair-goers to use. He pointed over to it as he looked down at Hazel with bright green eyes. “ Do you wanna try this game maybe?” he asked with some apprehension. He felt his stomach flip at not actually knowing what Hazel might want to do to start off with. With a small gesture from Davin, the three tokotas that had been with him perked up knowing that it was time to move at last. Ricus began to follow his handler at once, but after a moment he thought to leave plenty of room between himself and the pair to allow them some space to themselves. The seal male was careful to keep Kadel back as well; especially since she was still rather young and naïve. The brown female bounded with joy as they started moving, her introduction to Ila long forgotten already. Kadel had just barely picked up the hint from Ricus yet she managed to hang back behind Ricus obediently. The seal male was somewhat an alpha to their pack, no one considered him having a title as such since their pack was relatively loose on who was in charge, but if any of them was to be deemed alpha, it would be Ricus. Though he was older and more experienced than Ricus, Kenai often chose not to place a challenge for any sort of set rank. His words held weight among the pack though, and his command was often followed similarly to the seal leader. This was also similar to Kynareth, who had now jogged up ahead to clear a path and lead them about the grounds. The difference between Kyne and Kenai was that Kyne was more than likely the type that would challenge for leadership; however, the only reason she had not taken lead over the pack was that she prefered to roam free. Leading a pack would likely force her into duties she would rather not bother with. --------- After sighting hide nor hair of either of the tokota pups Skylie sighed. “ Reckless scamps...,” she said with a small giggle as she let her fondness for the small bundles of fur soothe her. Her hand found it’s way back to tangle her fingers into Odell’s mane. His scent wafting over to her to provide a bit of comfort. The lass continued onto her path to the outskirts of the festivities and as she neared her destination she caught sight of a familiar tokota. Skylie grinned as the name of the beast had reached her mind. Raakel was one of the tokotas she met when she found Davin after her months of looking for the orphaned boy. Of course, at the time the sheep traited tokota was under the care of Hazel. Since then she had found a new home and owner. To whom she belonged to now Skylie had little knowledge. She, herself had very little familiarity with the members of the tribe. She had been so caught up in reuniting with her cousin and relaying information back home about her success in finding Davin that she had little time to actually mingle among the tribe’s inhabitance. She was about to call out to the seal tokota when... she saw them. Without a second thought, Skylie bounded forward as fast as her dress would let her. Odell was taken slightly aback when his handler took off. He wanted to go and greet Raakel since he hadn't seen the chipper female much since she had been sold, but fearing that his handler would tumble or do something ridiculous he jogged after the blonde lass. Breathing hard from the surprising amount of work she put in to running in a dress, the lass managed to catch up to the person she sighted. She had never met the red-headed girl( Valence) before her but her traits had already piqued her interest. She took a moment to level her breathing before carrying out an introduction. “ Hi there! I couldn't help but notice your ears from over there and I just had to meet you,” she said rather awkwardly as she pointed back over to where Odell was currently trucking his way through to crowd to join them. “ I’m Skylie!” she cheered with an outstretched hand. --------- At the sound of fluttering wings, Callie looked up and over to Seralee as she further engaged herself in conversation with Kenai. The tawny female watched with calm intrigue at the white dove that looked to be nestled right atop the cream tundra’s head. It was strange, to say the least, in her eyes, to see a bird comfortable enough to willingly perch itself upon a tokota. More-so considering that she herself did not mind having a fowl to snack on every once in a while. However, she did prefer larger birds such as geese, ducks, or even chickens(only if she could successfully raid a coop without being spotted, that is); smaller sparrows and doves were never hearty enough to tempt her into trying to catch one. Regardless of her preferential diet, Callie was quick in deciding that this tokota was strange. After all, a tokota that won’t eat easy prey like that; the tawny female had to admit that it wasn’t per their instinctual habits. Ridding herself of these questionable attributes, Callie perked her ears to hear what Seralee had to say about the big red oaf. After catching a small glance of the young female with Bristle and Aroro just earlier she had to guess that what Seralee heard from them probably wasn’t all glam and glory that Kenai was to believe. The red tundra male let out a nervous chuckle as Seralee shared what she knew about him. Next to him, Kenai could hear Callie let out a snort of amusement as she worked to muffle her giggles at Kenai’s reputation within Elsu’s pack. The red blanketed tundra male could feel a creeping up his spine at the mention of the two males as he gave a slight nod at knowing them. He let his hazel eyes pass over the tokota before him to take a glance at Aroro and Bristle as the two stayed upon the hill. He still harbored some guilty feelings for how he treated them that fishing day but at the same time he felt that he was in the right, to a degree. He knew that Bristle held a strong dislike of him, but concerning the graying brown half-mane, Kenai wanted to believe that Aroro was a little more easy going with the incident. At the time, Kenai wanted to apologize for possibly overstepping his bounds with their argument, but at the same time he found that as time wore on that Bristle might be less likely to forgive and forget. No matter, he still wished that he could find a way to be on better terms with the two males, if just to leave it at that in the end. Kenai could feel his ears perk at the mention of Elsu having an opinion of him. He was flattered, really. He was no leader like the domineering brown male, nor was he very high ranking in his own pack; so it gave him a bit of joy to hear that someone thought of him in good standing. “ Generous words from your alpha,” he barked with a grateful tone. “ I must say that I find him respectable as well. Exspecially since he is doing quite a fine job with his pack,” he added with diplomacy. There was no chance that he would bring his reputation down any further by showing anything less than the utmost appreciation towards his fellow tribe members. Finding that Seralee had said all she could on the matter, Kenai decided to turn his attention to her. “ So you know a bit about myself, and some about Callie here, but, my dear, I frankly have very little clue about you. I assume you are one of the newer bunch in Elsu’s band, no?” he asked with a friendly grin. Just as he finished his question though, a brown half-maned male trotted up with a somewhat submissive demeanor. Kenai took note of the tokota’s uncomfortable stature and instead of poking fun at the male he greeted the fellow with a friendly smile. “ Hello Hodie; a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I’m Kenai and this lump next to me is Callie,” he greeted with a nod of his head. Next to the blanketed tundra was Callie who huffed with irritation once again. “ They just keep comin’!” she wailed quietly. She returned the sharp glare that Kenai shot her way for her remark, and instead of him looking back first she was the one who turned away to lay onto her side in an attempt to block out their incessant chatter. Kenai was quick to pick up where he left off. “ I don't believe we have seen these two pups of yours,” he barked with a sympathetic expression. He didn't know what relation this tokota had to the ones he was looking for but the worried aura that Hodie gave off was enough to give Kenai cause to help where he could. “ Seralee, have you?” he asked as he turned to face the marked tundra.

'Wow so many lights and people!' Jade was wondering around the festival, looking around at all the new people and tokotas that she would soon meet and become friends with. 'You ready to make some new pack mates Mocha?' She asked the chocolate roan girl following beside her. The tokota waved her tail excitedly. This was her first time out among others and she was happy to be getting some much needed exercise. As Jade pass a booth covered in turtles she saw Hazel and Davin trying to fish things out of a big tub. 'Hello!' Jade said as she walked by. The two waved back an continued their game. Mocha started to trod ahead of Jade, sniffing all the fresh delicious carnival smells. They walked up to a booth with roasted caribou and Jade handed them some money. 'Here Mocha' Jade tossed a good chunk in the air. Mocha snapped it in her jaws and swallowed it whole. Jade then took a bite of her piece. It was tender, juicy and seemed to melt in her mouth. 'Wow this is amazing!' She threw another chuck to Mocha before finishing off the rest of the meat. Mocha let out a big yawn followed by looking back at Jade to see where they were going next. 'Maybe we should go home big girl' Jade rubbed Mocha behind the ear. 'Let's get out of here and get some sleep.' Mocha bobbed her head and the two started to walk home.

---- Sozin with Valk and Banji
Sozin looked to the male in front of them, who Valk had seemed happy to greet, and back to Vihn who seemed less than pleased. Sozin couldn't decide if looked like someone he trusted or not, simply because he looked rather normal looking standing before her now and yet with how Vihn and her tokota's where reacting she knew there must be more to it than she was seeing here. There must be something that signalled to the fact that he was not someone she would want to get to know. Banji, unlike Valk, was not so naive and was taking on the tensions that surrounded him. Luckily, he was not as aggressive and protective as some of the other tokota's presence, so his hackles stayed down and he didn't growl at the male handler. Instead he just remained tensely by Sozin's side, stone still as he watched the male through narrowed eyes. Sozin looked at him to, trying to guess as she listened to Vihn's answer as to what could have happened between him and Vihn to make their meeting as tense as it was now. Surely they had not parted on good terms but the question was why?
Sozin looked at his extended hand now, debating whether or not she would shake it, but since she and her sister where in some ways the leaders of the tribe she had to assume she should be friendly until she could no more, so she clasped her hand and shook it with her own, giving a small smile as best as she could.
"I'm Sozin, my sister Hazel started this tribe." She said, though it made her realize she hadn't actually seen Hazel yet. She wondered if her sister and her boyfriend, Davin, did end up making it to the festival after all or if something held them up. The thought was a cheeky mischievous one, since as the older sister she knew she would have to annoy her sister later on about how the date had went and what her sister had gotten herself up to.
--- Hazel and Ila
Hazel marvelled at the lights and many sights around them. Everything was so beautiful! The lantern that lit it up as the sky slowly became darker and darker made a beautiful glow around the many little stalls that had been set up with games, food and little crafts to be traded with one another. It was magnificent, and Davin's arm felt strong as she held on to it softly, walking carefully due to the weird showed she was wearing that where specific for this festival that went along with the kimono. Of course, she had added the fur onto the arms and collar of the kimono since it was Alaska after all.
As he pointed to a stall, she nodded, following him to the front of it and looking in. The turtles swam feely in the pool of water, seemingly unfazed by the lights and noises around them. They where all so cute! Hazel was content just watching the cute little shelled creatures swim around the pond. She looked to Davin, smiling, since of course he had chosen the perfect stall to being their date. yes, tho was a date. The knowledge that it was made her extremely happy, like a child opening a very special gift really slowly. Part of her wanted to end so she could know it was enjoyable, and the other part of her wanted it to last forever so she could bask in it.
Ila snorted, and Hazel looked over to see her beautiful grey tokota looking into the pond with some mix of curiosity and fear. Ila, apparently, was not so trusting that these turtles where as harmless as they looked. She kept her muzzle away from the edge just in case and the sight of her tokota watching the little turtles swim in circles made Hazel giggle.
"Oh come on Ila, they won't eat a big bad tokota like you." She said, petting the tokota's soft cheek fur. Then she looked at the person behind the stand, who was looking at her and Davin with a knowing smile and she, in noticing, smiled and blushed herself. She knew him as one of the older males in the tribe, in his fifties if she had to guess. He only had a small pack of tokota's, having long since retired form the hectic life of a handler for a more simple one. "So how does one play this game?" She asked, both to him and to Davin, adding "perhaps you should go first and show me." to Davin specifically. She wanted more so just to watch him, betting that he would be better than she was at whatever this game was, though the nets gave her a clue as to what someone was suppose to do. Ila, beside her, whimpered slightly then receded a few paw steps, obviously wanting nothing to do with these weird hard bodied swimming things.
---- Lirim & Akinyi
Lirim looked to Akinyi with an unamused expression that read "happy now?" all over it as the tow tokota' continued to bicker like an old senile married couple. Akinyi though, still seemed to be enjoying herself because the chocolate roan curly female had been feeling so lonely before not knowing anyone that she was happy to ahem met anyone, especially such energetic tokota's that where as vibrant and outgoing as Exodus and Byzantine seemed to be. She didn't butt in, since she didn't want to be rude or anything though. Besides, they seemed to full of life that it made her feel a little more energetic just being around them! Besides, it was certainly better than being on her own or stuck with just Lirim all night long. After all, as much as she was grateful for his company, the black vitigio was kind of a party pooper all in all.
Speaking of, she looked to see the black male slinking away.
"Hey! Stay with me!" She barked out and he turned and sighed, no doubt giving in to the realization that she was not going to let him out of her sights. Not until she knew someone as well as she knew him that was. She didn't want to be alone on the festival night or feel like a constant third wheel. Lirim, but by his manor, took up the third wheel role anytime he was in a group so having him around made her feel instantly better because she knew she wasn't half as bad.
"I saw a little place just in that has a place where we can bob for fishes! That could be fun right?" She said to all three of them, Exodus, Byzantine and Lirim.
---- Tang-ki and Sika
Tang-ki chuckled, nodding in agreement. He was not one to care so much about the genes since none of these tokota's where his anyway, so their value was meaningless to him. However, temperament made a huge different then in the ones he preferred to hang out with and help out and those he did not. He was a roamer, someone who had rarely stayed anyway or even any time as long as he had stayed in this time and world with the members of cross creek tribe, but he found himself amused by what went on here and found that he had much to learn before he could move on once more. It was dangerous to get to settled in any place or time, but he was finding himself happy here. So long as he continued to learn then he would have purpose and reason to stay he supposed.
But back to the conversation, lest he let his mind wander so far that it did not come back to him.
"Well then I think you and I will get along just fine with such similar views on many a thing as it appears. " he said.
Sika came forward, touching her nose to the handler and wagging her tail with delight.
"Besides, the tokotas seem to all like you. So, do you want to try your hand at the goldfish catching?"

Vinheart could tell Sozin wasn't having it, seeing Banji stiff from the situation and after hearing Elsu growl she snapped her fingers to make him stop. Nightlock moved from over beside Rycker to with Svart and Elsu, taking it as a caution should something happen and Elsu think he was with the stranger in the ordeal. As Vinh held her hands in front of her she was glad Sozin was at least being polite as she shook Rycker's hand.
"Sorry for my arrival causing such a disturbance among your Tokotas," Rycker apologized with a small smile as he drew his hand back. "It's just that there was an incident a few years back on a river during a sled dog race. I haven't exactly shown back up after it until now so there is good reason for there to be suspicion on why I am here."
Vinheart felt her anger flare up at that statement, her brown gaze turning hard as stone in a glare as her lips went into a straight line, fists curling up inside the long sleeves of her Kimono. She wasn't sure if Sozin would know of the accident, though it had been on the news for awhile of it, with missing dogs and Rycker himself going missing. She hoped it was a forgotten type of subject, something a mention would only bring a faint memory of it back and no details.
Elsu let out another low grumble from his throat, noticing Vinh's change in mood after the stranger mentioned the sledding accident him and the whole pack knew of. All information he knew came from the lead dog during the accident, Vinh's old Malamute Tuni. The rest of her team was lost to the waters supposedly, though another dog from Vinh's team had fairly recently showed up.
--
Seralee grinned and nodded at Kenai before turning to see who the newcomer was, she herself still being quite young made herself feel small between the two. Ears perking forward in curiosity as to what the brown half mane Hodie was asking she had to think for a minute. Her head beginning to tilt in thought again as she looked at Hodie before Kenai asked towards her about possibly seeing the pups.
Snapping out of her little daze from the question and the dove pecking her ear to make her sit straight again she lightly shook her head. An apologetic smile on her muzzle.
"Sorry, I haven't exactly gone much closer to the Festival than over here," Seralee explained, looking at him still before it came to her head on why. "You look a lot like someone I know in my pack!"
--
Aroro let out a small sigh as he laid down next to where Bristle was also laying, the piebald looking at his travelling companion with a questioning look before rolling his pale colored eyes.
"You're still all grouchy on her not coming here," Bristle mocked the half mane.
"You'd understand the feeling of your mate turning down an invitation to go to the festival with you to help take care of pups back at the barn," Aroro retorted with a huff. "Not like you'll ever know the feeling that is, you don't care for anyone but yourself."
Before Bristle could give an argument the sound of paw steps made him pause, though Aroro didn't take a look back Bristle smirked as the familiar brown wolverine female walked up and plopped herself down next to Aroro and laid on her side. Noeni looked up at Aroro with a smirk and daring gleam in her eye before relaxing against him.
"This has already gotten worse than ever before, if you need me I think I shall be over by Hamaro, Drone and the pups," Bristle said before standing and practically running over in a farther area where he could recognize the coats of his pack mates.
"I though you said you weren't coming to the festival," Aroro commented sharply. "Had to help take care of the pups."
"I volunteered to help for one," Noeni snorted. "Two, I'm still watching over the pups, they walked right past you and Bristle to play down there."
With a lazy look the female raised her head to look down at where Clarent, Stesoni and Harchnid were tumbling around, nipping at each other's faces and ears with little yaps and growls coming from them once and awhile.
"Well isn't that just great," Aroro sighed.
"Stop being such a grump!" Noeni teased, rolling onto her back and looking up at Aroro as she pushed at his face with a paw. "At least Storbjorn isn't here to cause a big ruckus."

Nettle laid herself down on the grass, the sun setting and sky getting darker made it very calming even with the pups carrying away as they chased after Drone and Hamaro in some sort of game to entertain the pups. Though it was funny for her, Akane and Dove when Stor got ahold of Drone's tail, it wasn't so funny for the brown male when he had to run around dragging the Dire pup around because of his iron grip on Drone's tail.
Hamaro along with Marienet and Arnet were also laughing at the sight, at least until Drone ran by them, which Stor took the chance to release Drone and clamp his teeth down on Hamaro's back leg instead, sending the grey tawny jumped about trying to kick the large pup off him as now Drone laughed at him with the others.
Nettle sighed along with Charcoal, "Oh Stor."
"Let's hope he doesn't keep that going when he's older," Dove commented, the females giving him wide eyed looks at the idea of it.
"We'll have to teach that pup to not bite soon," Nettle said, looking back over at the pups as Marie and Arnet started wrestling again as Drone watched Hamaro keep trying to kick the pup off him.
"Very soon," Charcoal added, spotting a familiar patchy pelt approaching.
"Well look who it is, Bristle himself. Thought you only hung out with Aroro," Akane stated flatly at the tundra piebald.
"How 'bout you shut it," Bristle snarled at him. "Noeni's over there now so it certainly wasn't something I was going to be hanging around to see the end of."
"Noeni is here?" Nettle perked. "I thought she stayed behind with Runi and Azazel to take care of the pups..."
"She brought the siblings and Clarent along with her," Bristle replied sharply as he sat down a few feet away, Dove sitting next to him silently.
"I guess Aza and Runi have the older siblings on their hands then," Charcoal said with a chuckle.
--
Azazel sighed as they finally stopped walking, her paws feeling achy after walking for so long after not walking in forever since she never had much to do. She smiled over at the two males she had walked with, one being her mate Runi and the other a known albino male by the name of Mauja. He was deaf and quiet but his company was welcomed happily by the two along with the pups they were taking care of. All four pups were half siblings, being the children of their Alpha Elsu the two were entrusted with such a job seeing as they were the best suit for it being some of the eldest members of the pack, and the most responsible.
Kongeorn, Lonan, Blaze and Wren all pranced around together. Lonan being the eldest of the four and Wren being youngest he was very watchful of everything around him. Not wanting his three sisters to get hurt so he kept a very close eye on them all, though Kongeorn was much more careful being the second eldest, Wren and Blaze were bouncing about and sniffing or chewing on anything she could get ahold of. Which at one point for Wren had actually been Mauja's tail, and though Azazel began going into a frenzy of scolding Mauja just smiled slightly at the pup as she walked around his paws from then on until the festival came into sight.
"The weather is so nice!" Azazel commented happily with a relaxed sigh.
Runi sat next to her on the right, Mauja setting down a few feet away watching the three sister play as Lonan sat next to the Albino also watching them carefully.
"This is much more relaxing than the barn," Azazel said with a smile.
Runi gave a small snort of a laugh, "Agreed."

Exodus and Byzantine--- “Oh my Aippaq! Could we please? Oh I wanna go fishing! Valence always says were not big enough yet,” Exodus cheered hopping up and down excitedly. “Could you maybe show us how since we’ve never been fishing before?” Byzantine asked trying and failing to contain his own excitement at the prospect of finally getting to go fishing as his tail wagged back and forth excitedly. Valence--- Valence’s ears instantly went as flat to her head as she could manage pulling her head back and making a sort of alarmed slash disturbed cat face. Not liking how the only thing this girl had noticed was her ears. “Um I’m Valence?’ Valence squeaked out nervously wishing to everything good in the world that she hadn’t let Hodie wander off to search for the pups or that she’d brought her new Tokota Misha. As she subconsciously went to put up her hood before realizing she was in a dress and therefor didn’t have a hood on. She instead opted for trying to comb her thick orange hair over her ears to cover them. Hodie--- “Oh well thank you… I suppose there probably ok its not like there’s a lack of watchful eyes here,” Sighs slightly tired from the long trip here and from worrying about the pups. “So this is one of my first times out since we joined the tribe and I can’t say as I’ve met any other tokotas besides the two pups I described…” Trailed of awkwardly sitting down and offering a small smile to the other three hoping they might consider being his friend since it’d be nice to have a few friends who weren’t pups. Agent--- Noticed the spike in tension between the three other humans and quickly turn to one of the tokota that appears to be with the young girl with brown hair with blonde highlights, “What going on?” As a trained military NCO Agent was unable to force himself to ignore the situation that clearly had nothing to do with himself and instead opted to try and help solve the problem or help in any way he could to correct a situation. This was spurred on by his need to continue working even though he’d been discharge from the military already he couldn’t deal with the lack of work. This was one of the reasons he had started working as a tokota handler since it kept him busy and with work to do. The problem was he had a total soft spot for the fluffy creatures and therefore was unable to treat them with the amount of discipline most people would expect he would use while training the large creatures.
Word count- 448 (sorry I just couldn't think of anything else to write for this one)

Kadel jogged up to Ila as she eyed the pool of hard shell reptiles.Unlike the wolverine tokota beside her Kadel had different ideas of the danger level these things possessed. Her nose lowered down into the pool as she sniffed at its surface as one of the turtles swam by. She could feel the heat rising from the water to keep it at a temperature that was comfortable for it’s inhabitants. There was one very prominent thought on Kadel’s mind as she watched them swim about, and that was wondering how these little buggers would taste. The look on her face was a big tell to her handler as he gave her a light shove to her cheek to get her away from the trough. “ Kadel,” Davin addressed sternly, “ They aren't for eating.” The brown female gave him a begging look before she got the idea that he wouldn't budge. Her head dipped into a sulk as she paced on over to Ricus and Kyne to sit and watch. The strawberry blonde lad chuckled at his young tokota’s reaction before he looked to see what Hazel thought of the choice of stall. Davin beamed down at Hazel as she watched with fascination at the little green reptiles. He felt his cheeks heat up at her happy expression. If that moment could last forever, Davin would take that chance right then just so that he could savor the joy that he was having together with the blonde elf. This was one of the most peaceful moments he had felt in a long time. Just him with the girl he liked, possibly loved, and their devoted tokotas tagging along, having all the fun they could bring about. His momentary trance broke as she giggled at Ila’s reaction to the reptiles. It was music to his ears to listen to her fluttering laugh. He could feel a warm smile spread across his face without much warning. He let out a content sigh and it was then that he felt the eyes of the man behind the trough watching them with a kind but knowing smile. Davin coughed in embarrassment and idly scratched his neck. He faltered a little when Hazel asked if he would go first and show her but he recovered quickly and nodded. “ Sure thing Hazel,” he agreed with a little nervousness. Davin fumbled a bit as he picked up a paper net that had a bright blue handle that he thought resembled the color of Hazel’s eyes. “ W-well it's just turtle catching, right? You use the net to scoop out one of the turtles from the water and see how many you get before it breaks?” he asked more than stated. The lad was relieved to see the older man running the stall nod at him in confirmation at his assumption before he placed a bowl into the water for Davin to put the turtles in once caught. Davin then peered into the water with a concentrated frown before crouching down to get a better angle at trying to scoop out one of the shelled beings. With his net at the ready he dipped it into the trough and slid it over to one of the turtles. He attempted to get under the small reptile only to have the turtle flip over the edge of the net when he tried to raise it out. With a quiet huff he zeroed in on to another turtle and tried again. This time the net pushed the water just enough to keep the turtle in front and away from the net until the turtle was able to meet up with a few more of its kind and keep Davin from singling out just one. Getting a feel for how the factors worked, Davin tried once more to scoop one out. Keeping his net out of the water until at last he dove in to pick one up. He let out a silent cheer as the turtle landed in the center of his paper net to which Davin quickly lifted it out to place the being in the floating bowl. As he moved however, the turtle broke through the netting and fell back into the water with a plop. A mop of strawberry blonde hair bowed forward in defeat as he let out a noise of light disappointment. He handed the broken net the the man before he looked up at Hazel and grinned sheepishly. “ I guess I'm not very good at this, huh?” he confessed. --------- It was a valiant struggle by Odell as the large male finally manage to make his way through the last torrent of people. He huffed out in annoyance as he gave Skylie a rough nudge to her back for ditching him. The tundra male was already uneasy in the crowd as it was and then for her to run off in such a flurry without him. The irked male would surely make her pay for it at a later day he had decided. After swatting at Odell for almost knocking her over, Skylie was quickly taken aback by Valence’s reaction; immediately recognizing the feline esque expression that flashed across her face. She cursed her rashness in greeting the other handler and worked on a way to mend the rough start she created. The blond lass recalled the time when she first met Davin. He was so cold to her at her acclaim the he was family. Of course, it didn't help that she had roughly pulled him into a spontaneous hug without a formal introduction of who she was or of their relation. The action was, of course, her simple relief at her search finally being over but it was definitely a great deal too much as a first impression. Movement from Valence pulled Skylie from her thoughts. “ Ah- Um you don't need to hide ‘em,” she insisted as she noticed Valence work her hair to hide her ears as best as she could. “ I guess I was a little brash there,” she said with a chuckle. Her hand rose to pull at her shoulder muscle. “ I was just really excited to see someone else with a kinship to felines,” Skylie beamed at Valence. --------- Kenai’s eyes squinted at Hodie as Seralee mentioned the male resembling someone of her pack. The tundra male imagined Aroro but shook his head with the belief that it was the half-mane resemblance that made them look similar. There was another of Elsu’s pack that Kenai had trouble with the name. That male did share some resemblance with Hodie other than the fuller mane Seralee’s pack member had in comparison. It was then that Kenai took notice of something else if you replaced Hodie’s mane with a darker and fuller one. “ Hey Callie,” he called while keeping his eyes on the half-mane male. “ Does Hodie here resemble Kadel a bit?” he asked with interest. Said tawny female cracked her eyes open to look. The grouchy demeanor still there but with a small addition of curiosity flashing through her eyes. “ Mmmm I guess, maybe,” she said after a long pause. “ Their pelt colors are really close,” Callie stated with a grunt as she lifted herself off of the ground to sit upright. The tokotas around her weren't leaving anytime soon it seemed and with their constant chatter the female half-mane knew she wouldn't be able to sleep through this whole event. She lazily scratched behind her ear as Hodie determined that the pups would be fine with such a large crowd of tokotas and handlers in the area. Kenai looked thoughtful as Callie gave a reply that didn't end up insulting someone else. He gave an inward grin figuring that their talking had finally wore her down into joining them. Of course, he knew it wouldn't be long before she would lose her patience and leave. The red blanketed male grinned at Hodie as the male made it known that he was still rather new and thus alone in terms of friends and peers among the tribe. “ Ah, really now?! You're in luck then,” he said with a gleeful glint in his eyes. Callie rolled her eyes and an exasperated frown plastered her face. “ Here we go,” she sighed quietly, “ Have fun getting rid of him now.” “ Feel free to look for me if you need anything,” the tundra male barked with excitement. “ I may be a little older but I know this place and most everyone here like the back of my paw,” he clarified with a lift of his leg to illustrate. He turned to look at Seralee with a soft smile. " You too Seralee! If you enver need anything, please don't hesitate to ask," he offered with a nod to them both.
