[ Tokota POV yes? ]
Shattered yawned, looking around and blinking the sleep from her blue eyes. From the looks of the empty stall besides herself, Kibwe had already left today. Whether that was with the upright alpha or not, Shattered wasn't sure. She got up and stretched regardless, if the alpha wanted her she would know, and otherwise it would mean a day off. With the arrival of the really short one, the alpha had focused on training it, so Shattered would not have been surprised to have the day off to herself again. She always, of course, tried to make it productive. Normally she chose to take a shift of hanging with the herd of sheep and guarding over them as they roamed and fed on the grasslands around the tribe's creeks, but today she was feeling adventurous. As she finished her stretch, she considered maybe going hunting... or fishing. Just for a change of pace. Fishing was something she frequently did, since the creeks teemed with fish during this season, but hunting... now that would really be exciting. Hunting would be hard, considering now all prey had awoken form their winters sleep yet, and those that did would be flighty and probably prove to be a challenge. She always did like a challenge, she mused to herself. Still, she had better play it safe to a degree... and by that she meant not go alone. She was quite confident she could bring down prey perfectly fine on her own, but should something happen to her that was not something she could have predicted she would prefer to have another around. At least one other, someone to be her fail safe. She, admittedly, hadn't met a lot of the tokota's in the tribe since she found the upright alpha was bringing in enough new tokota's, herself included that she found herself busy just getting her bearings on straight about this new life. She could see the tokota's regardless of who lead them, where all really close though, and despite that sort of trust being outside of her own comfort zone... she rather liked the idea, and wanted to be a part of the large family like group that the tribe had. She just found ehrself awkward putting herself out there, so instead she went for well aimed wit and a healthy distance in most scenarios.
Today would be different though, today she would rise to teh challenge, and find a hunting buddy. How hard could it be after all? It was a warm and mild spring day, which was perfect, and someone here was bound to be lazy and hanging around without a job to do.
She padded outside, tail high with anticipation of her plans. When she saw a toktoa, looking like he was hardly doing much of anything though she couldn't be certain she barked a happy greeting... or he best attempt at one at least.
"Hey you, you up for going hunting?"
