//Setka needs some plots... What would you do if a seemingly wild girl and her herd of wild dires moved in one day? //
This will be an exploration, so they will need some reason to accompany her in and around the territory as she explores it.... at least more so than the caves she has been living in. If one other person joins in I will be using all three as explorations, if 2+ people join though I'll use only two. If five+ people join in then of course i'll only use one.
Handler: Setka (Hazel and Sozin will be joining as well if extra handlers are needed)
Tokota's: Kibwe Aga Issudlerk
------
Autumn would soon be descending upon them in a fuller force than the simple rains that plagued them on and off now, but today would be a hard day for looking at it and knowing that. The sun was high in the sky, shining brightly, and the autumn leaves swayed in a gentle rain free breeze. Even the clouds in the sky, though there weren't many, where white, fully, seemingly harmless clouds that seemed to only speak to good weather for at least the rest of the day. It was a day that spoke promise for actually getting things done, it what one who had lived without a home for so long could think. Well, home was not the right word, for Setka considered the Alaskan wilderness she knew so well to be her home. Of course, as far as formal lodgings and such went she had none of that, nor had she ever desired such things.
That being said, she had indeed stayed last night in Cross Creek Tribe. She hadn't decided if she would stay or not, she could feel the unease of the rest of those whom called themselves handlers when she was around. She was certain she was more.... feral in behaviour than the rest of them, though not in form since eyer simple ears had nothing on the one she had heard could change into a full snow leopard... That was something she would probably have to see to believe. Of course, staying in the handler lodgings seemed weird, something she could hardly understand. The relationship the handlers had with their tokota's was, although similar, not that which she shared with her pack. She did not handle them, for instance, she just ran with them. They where obedient but only if her place within the pack had earned their respect. They considered her to be one of them and treated them as such and she returned the favour.... which was why when the first morning light broke though and shone through the holes in the barn roof she found herself waking up. At first, she had been a little unsure of where she was, until she woke up a little more, stretching. Her movements alerted Kibwe, who went from dead asleep to sitting up alert all to quickly... but it was that ability that probably helped her keep role of beta. Well, arguably alpha even since although Kibwe listened to Setka, Setka hardly lead the pack.... Kiibwe did that. She just more changed the direction when and only when she felt it absolutely necessary to do so and otherwise she didn't overstep her place. Her hand reached out to grab her weapon, the cold metal feeling comfortable in her hand, assuring her she was safe. She never kept it far from her, the scars on her back made sure to remind her.
Aga and Issudlerk soon followed in waking up, though they did it more slowly and by the time they where up Setka was already getting Kibwe ready. Setka didn't like being in a place where they didn't know the lay out of the land. If they needed to make a fast get away, they'd be at a disadvantage to those who did know the land around here. It wasn't something Setka was planning, since despite the distance the tokota's and her had travelled they had known that they would need to settle down for the winter. Even if the climate was more mild here than where she had come from, there was no telling whether or not the winters would be just as cruel to travellers. No, they'd make camp for the winter and as soon as the first signs of spring came forth they would depart once more. If they where lucky, those they where seeking to avoid where thinking similar things, or perhaps had long since given up in actually catching them. Or maybe, since being chased out, those who had done the chasing hadn't even cared enough whether they lived or died to even send anyone or anything after them... perhaps...
Setka turned from Kibwe, who went to stand by the entrance and wait, as she got Aga and Issudlerk ready.
